We launched Fresh Air Realty in 2014 with the sole purpose of helping friends and family buy Catskills real estate. Five years later we’ve morphed into a boutique brokerage with a team of 5 agents (and growing) representing buyers in four counties (Ulster, Sullivan, Dutchess, and Columbia). We believe that part of the reason for our rapid growth is the professional approach we take to our representation of clients.

Are you experienced?  Prior to launching Fresh Air Realty, I practiced law for 15 years at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel, a large law firm in NYC where I represented hedge funds and investment banks in complex financial transactions. The skills that I developed as an attorney translate easily and apply equally to my representation of real estate clients; attention to detail, in-depth analysis of the market, negotiating prowess, and prompt responsiveness.

Do you live in Brooklyn or the Catskills? I split my time between DUMBO (Brooklyn) and Accord (Catskills).  As a second homeowner, I have a keen understanding of the nuances and pitfalls to consider as you go down the road of buying a place.

What is your approach to representing clients? We love to meet our clients in the city, over coffee or a drink, to learn more about them and what they're looking for. We take the same approach to all clients:

• Listen Intently. We recognize one simple fact; that in order to effectively represent you we need to know what you want.  So, we listen and adjust accordingly.
• Respond Promptly and Professionally.  We make ourselves available all hours, day and night.
• Guide and Advise.  Many agents think they know what you want.  Our role is to help you buy a home.  Yes, we’ll offer advice or guide you based on our local knowledge or expertise but we’ll never push you in one direction. (iv) we have local resources (attorneys, contractors, cleaning service, property managers, handymen, etc.) so that once you’ve purchased, you’re not left to your own efforts.
• Zero Pressure.  While some agents out there will attempt to push you toward a property, we take your lead. Of course, we’ll give you our advice and guidance, but ultimately, we let the buyer set the pace.
