Alexander James

I have been a regular in the Catskills since my early childhood days when I learned how to ski at Windham. My professional and academic career has afforded me the opportunity to live and travel throughout the country and abroad, providing a unique perspective to my diverse client base. Until recently, I lived with my wife and dog in the Ansonia, a Beaux-Arts pre-war apartment building on the Upper West Side, and split my time between the City and our Catskills retreat in Roxbury. We fell in love with the region and are now upstate full-time.

I received my B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and my M.B.A. from Georgetown University. Not only do I bring together creativity and business savvy expertise, but also an analytical mindset that will help my buyers and sellers make the right financial decision. Along with my patient, warm and friendly personality, I make the entire sales process interesting, engaging, and enjoyable for my clients.
